Promotion & Dissemination Activities

The Quality Education Fund (QEF) is committed to conducting a variety of dissemination and promotion activities every year.  The above seminar is scheduled for 2 October 2015 to disseminate the QEF project “Using Gestalt Approach to Promote Student Emotional Wellbeing”, which was conducted by the Department of Social Work and Social Administration of The University of Hong Kong from 2013 to 2015 at 12 primary schools.  The project aimed to assist parents and students to face their anxiety by using Gestalt intervention approach. The message “Befriend with and accept our anxiety” is promoted in the project. The project used a wide range of activities such as parent talk, exhibition, games day, parent group, student group, and casework for students to enhance the sustainability of the project.  Symposium and conference were conducted for teachers, social workers and counselors.

 

The above seminar will be conducted in Cantonese.  For reservation of seats, please submit your on-line application via the Training Calendar System (TCS) of the Education Bureau (EDB) (http://tcs.edb.gov.hk; Course ID: EI0020150267) or complete and return the enrolment form downloaded from this homepage to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 24 September 2015.  Seats will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis.  All applicants may visit this homepage for checking the enrolment result from 29 September 2015 onwards.  For TCS applicants, they will also be informed of the enrolment result by e-mail via the system.  However, the Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment result.
