QTN Dissemination Seminar (11) – Facilitating STEM Education in Upper Primary through Robotic Activities (27 June 2019)

The Quality Education Fund (QEF) conducts a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis. QEF has invited Buddhist Ho Lam Kam College to share with us on 27 June 2019 . Please note that the activity will be conducted in Cantonese.
 
The QTN aims at promoting STEM education through equipping participating school teachers with the knowledge and skills to design and assemble robots so that learning activities related to robotics could be carried out to enhance students’ interest in STEM. During the project period, inter-school sharing and discussion sessions would be conducted on a regular basis to enhance teachers' professional development. The learning community so established under the QTN would be maintained after the project for further capacity building. Teachers of the participating schools would be arranged to use the high-end Laser Cutter purchased under the QTN for producing their teaching aids for further development of school-based curriculum.

 
Primary / Secondary School
Interested primary / secondary schools principals and teachers may apply online via the Training Calendar System (TCS) of the Education Bureau ( http://tcs.edb.gov.hk/ , course code: EI0020190273 ) on or before 14 June 2019 .
 
Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis . The acceptance list will be uploaded in this homepage from 19 June 2019 . TCS applicants will also be notified through e-mail by the system. The QEF Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment results.
