QTN Dissemination Seminar (15) – Whole School Curriculum Planning on STEM Education (8 July 2019)

The Quality Education Fund (QEF) conducts a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis. QEF has invited S.K.H. Holy Cross Primary School to share with us on 8 July 2019 . Please note that the activity will be conducted in Cantonese.
 
The QTN aims at establishing a cross school network to enhance teachers’ professional capacity in planning and implementing school-based STEM curriculum. Through hands-on and minds-on exploratory activities in General Studies lessons, the QTN is to develop students’ capabilities to integrate and apply knowledge and skills by reinforcing the design cycle to cultivate students’ creativity. Opportunities will also be provided to students to apply coding in order to develop computational thinking skill.

 
Primary School
Interested primary schools principals and teachers may apply online via the Training Calendar System (TCS) of the Education Bureau ( http://tcs.edb.gov.hk/ , course code: EI0020190277 ) on or before 21 June 2019 .
 
Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis . The acceptance list will be uploaded in this homepage from 28 June 2019 . TCS applicants will also be notified through e-mail by the system. The QEF Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment results.
