QTN Dissemination Seminar (16) – Facilitating STEM Education in Primary/Secondary School using microcontroller (10 July 2019)

The Quality Education Fund (QEF) conducts a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis. QEF has invited HKSKH Bishop Hall Secondary School to share with us on 10 July 2019 . Please note that the activity will be conducted in Cantonese.
 
The QTN aims at facilitating participating schools to develop school-based modular STEM curriculum and teaching materials featuring Micro:bit, aided by the Coordinator’s sharing of experience. Teachers would be empowered in regard to STEM education through joining workshops, curriculum planning meetings, and etc., so as to enhance professional development and network discussions. While students experience the delights of programming and product design from using Micro:bit, their creativity and collaboration skills would also be cultivated.

 
Primary / Secondary School
Interested primary / secondary schools principals and teachers may apply online via the Training Calendar System (TCS) of the Education Bureau ( http://tcs.edb.gov.hk/ , course code: EI0020190278 ) on or before 21 June 2019 .
 
Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis . The acceptance list will be uploaded in this homepage from 28 June 2019 . TCS applicants will also be notified through e-mail by the system. The QEF Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment results.
