Dissemination Workshop (3) - Effective Learning: Design and Technology Extended Curriculum - Application of 3D Printer

The Quality Education Fund (QEF) organises dissemination sessions regularly on different themes to disseminate the good practices derived from QEF projects and promote professional sharing.  The above workshop, to be conducted in Cantonese, will be held on 13 January 2016.
 
TWGHs Mrs Fung Wong Fung Ting College conducted the QEF project on “Design and Technology Extended Curriculum - Application of 3D Printer” in 2014 and 2015, aiming to incorporate 3D printing into school-based Design & Technology curriculum for junior secondary students; and enhance students’ creativity, higher order thinking skills and spatial presentation abilities. The project has generated experiences in curriculum development with the application of 3D printing as well as cross-subjects collaboration.
 
Interested secondary schools may visit this homepage or the Education Bureau Training Calendar System (TCS) (http://tcs.edb.gov.hk; Course ID: EI0020150382) for details. For reservation of seats, please submit your on-line application via the TCS or return the completed enrolment form (downloaded from this homepage) to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 18 December 2015 . 
 
Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis .  Due to limited capacity, one quota per school , tentatively .  Applicants may visit this homepage for checking their enrolment from 22 December 2015 .  TCS applicants will also be notified through e-mail by the system.  The QEF Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment results.
