Dissemination Seminar - Sharing on Kindergarten Education: Teaching for Creativity: Promoting Creative Practices in Preschool Classrooms and the Processes of Change (12 December 2014)
The Quality Education Fund (QEF) conducts a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis. To support preschool teachers in fostering children's creativity in their classrooms, Department of Early Childhood Education of Hong Kong Institute of Education has conducted a QEF project to support teachers’ creative practices and investigate the effectiveness of the pedagogical framework for creative practices (PFCP) and teachers’ change. The results suggest that the PFCP was perceived as being effective in helping teachers improve their lesson planning and pedagogy. Positive effects such as infusing creativity into the various learning domains and shifting teaching practices from being strongly teacher centred to being more child centred were evident. Please note that the activity will be conducted in Cantonese.
You and your staff are cordially invited to attend the activity to be held on 12 December 2014 . For reservation of seats, please submit your on-line application via the Training Calendar System (TCS) of the Education Bureau (EDB) ( http://tcs.edb.gov.hk ; Course ID: EI0020140388) or complete and return the enrolment form downloaded from this homepage to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 4 December 2014 . Seats will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis . All applicants may visit this homepage for checking the enrolment result from 8 December 2014 onwards . For TCS applicants, they will also be informed of the enrolment result by e-mail via the system. However, the Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment result.
Applicant will receive confirmation email from the organiser of the Learning & Teaching Expo (LTE) 2014 before the event. On the event day, applicant should present the printed email for getting an entry badge at the registration counter on 5/F. No entry will be allowed for the one who have no entry badge .
