Quality Education Fund Dissemination Activities – Pre-primary Education: Dissemination on Consolidation and Redevelopment Work on QEF Pre-primary Education (Whole-person Development) Projects (19 June 2012)

The Quality Education Fund (QEF) conducts a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis. The QEF commissioned the Centre for University and School Partnership of the Chinese University of Hong Kong to conduct a research on “Consolidation and Redevelopment Work on QEF Pre-primary Education (Whole-person Development) Projects” with a view to consolidating practices of the funded QEF projects on pre-primary education (whole-person development). The selected projects covered a wide range of developmental focus including music, drama, art, physical development, green living, language, sex education, national education, support to the special educational needs, etc. It was also found that schools / organisations had great passion and commitment in providing children with enriched learning experiences even for those with special educational needs. A sharing session will be organised to disseminate the research findings, and for schools to share their experiences on 19 June 2012 .

Teachers and parents are cordially invited to attend. Interested parties may enrol the activity through the following ways. Please note that the activity will be conducted in Cantonese.

Kindergartens / Nurseries
Interested kindergartens / nurseries may visit this homepage ( http://qef.org.hk ) or the Education Bureau Training Calendar System (TCS) ( http://tcs.edb.gov.hk ); Course ID: SS0020120092) for details. For reservation of seats, please submit your on-line application via the TCS or return the completed enrolment form (downloaded from this homepage) to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 12 June 2012 .

Parents
Interested parents may enrol through their schools. Schools should return the enrolment form (downloaded from this homepage) with completed parent information to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 12 June 2012 .

Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicants may visit this homepage for checking their enrolment from 14 June 2012 . TCS applicants will also be notified through e-mail by the system. The QEF Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment results.
