Quality Education Fund Dissemination Activities – Life Education: Using Games for Enhancing Problem Solving Skills in Social Setting for Children (I) &(II) (25 April 2012)
The Quality Education Fund (QEF) conducts a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis. To meet the need of children to acquire social skills for relationship building in their early childhood development, Po Leung Kuk Yuen Long Kindergarten has conducted a project to uplift the cognition of social skills among the children through enriching existing curriculum to cater for the needs of different levels of children, providing training to teachers and parents and promoting closer collaboration with the parents by inviting parents to give voluntary support to the children in the promotion of social skills at schools. A sharing session will be conducted on 25 April 2012 to present this project and the participating schools will share their experiences on the practices.
Teachers and parents are cordially invited to attend. Interested parties may enrol the activity through the following ways. Please note that the activity will be conducted in Cantonese.
Kindergartens / Nurseries
Interested kindergartens / nurseries may visit this homepage (http://qef.org.hk) or the Education Bureau Training Calendar System (TCS) (http://tcs.edb.gov.hk; Course ID: SS0020120079) for details. For reservation of seats, please submit your on-line application via the TCS or return the completed enrolment form (downloaded from this homepage) to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 20 April 2012.
Parents
Interested parents may enrol through their schools. Schools should return the enrolment form (downloaded from this homepage) with completed parent information to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 20 April 2012.
Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis. Applicants may visit this homepage for checking their enrolment from 24 April 2012. TCS applicants will also be notified through e-mail by the system. The QEF Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment results.
