Quality Education Fund Dissemination Activities – Special Educational Needs: District-based Support for Autistic Children Attending Mainstream Schools (24 February 2012)

The Quality Education Fund (QEF) conducts a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis.  Heep Hong Society has launched an intensive education program to support autistic children, their parents and teachers in the New Territories East and North and developed effective training packages for better integration and adjustment of autistic children in mainstream schools.  A sharing session will be conducted on 24 February 2012 to present this project and the participating schools will share their experiences on the practices. 

Teachers and parents are cordially invited to attend.  Interested parties may enrol the activity through the following ways.  Please note that the activity will be conducted in Cantonese.

Kindergartens / Nurseries
Interested kindergartens / nurseries may visit this homepage or the Education Bureau Training Calendar System (TCS) (http://tcs.edb.gov.hk; Course ID: SS0020120053) for details.    For reservation of seats, please submit your on-line application via the TCS or return the completed enrolment form (downloaded from this homepage) to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 17 February 2012. 

Parents
Interested parents may enrol through their schools.  Schools should return the enrolment form (downloaded from this homepage) with completed parent information to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 17 February 2012.  Parent quota for each school is 5.

Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis.  Applicants may visit this homepage for checking their enrolment from 21 February 2012.  TCS applicants will also be notified through e-mail by the system.  The QEF Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment results.
