Quality Education Fund Thematic Dissemination Activities – Effective Learning: "Global Ethics and Liberal Studies: Teaching Materials Development and Supporting Programme for the Teaching and Learning, 2009-2010" (6 December 2011)

The Quality Education Fund (QEF) conducts a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis.  With the implementation of the New Senior Secondary curriculum since 2009, the Centre for Religious and Spirituality Education of t he Hong Kong Institute of Education has develop ed a set of learning and teaching materials for the module “Globalization” in Liberal Studies.

A sharing session will be conducted to present this project and the participating schools will also share their experience on this project.   Each participant of this sharing session will be given the Information Books of the Education Exhibition on “Global Ethics and Globalization” (in two volumes; Chinese version only).

You and your staff are cordially invited to attend the activity to be held on 6 December 2011. For reservation of seats, please submit your on-line application via the Training Calendar System (TCS) of the Education Bureau (EDB) ( http://tcs.edb.gov.hk ; Course ID: SS0020110087) or complete and return the enrolment form downloaded from this homepage to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 30 November 2011.  Seats will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis.  All applicants may visit this homepage for checking the enrolment result from 2 December 2011 onwards.  For TCS applicants, they will also be informed of the enrolment result by e-mail via the system.  However, the Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment result.
