Quality Education Fund Dissemination Activities – Life Education: I am my Body - Healthy Life and Life Education in the Context of Embodiment (Stage 1) (12 January 2012)
The Quality Education Fund (QEF) conducts a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis. To provide support for students’ whole person development through initiating re-thinking of different faculties of life, such as healthy diet, emotional health, consumer pattern, life and death education and spiritual well-being, the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong has conducted a project to enhance the life education of students of 10 seed secondary schools through providing teaching training, producing teaching materials, running student activities and establishing a website. A sharing session will be conducted to present this project and the participating schools will also share their experiences on this project. Each participant of this sharing session will be given a set of teaching package and a DVD of teachers’ workshop on life education if the participants are willing to add their names and email addresses into the contact list of the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. (The teaching package and the DVD are suitable for junior secondary level and being adapted, for upper primary level). Please note that the activity will be conducted in Cantonese.
You and your staff are cordially invited to attend the activity to be held on 12 January 2012. For reservation of seats, please submit your on-line application via the Training Calendar System (TCS) of the Education Bureau (EDB) ( http://tcs.edb.gov.hk ; Course ID: SS0020110104) or complete and return the enrolment form downloaded from this homepage to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before 5 January 2012. Seats will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. All applicants may visit this homepage for checking the enrolment result from 9 January 2012 onwards. For TCS applicants, they will also be informed of the enrolment result by e-mail via the system. However, the Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment result.
