Talk: Cooperative Learning

In the QEF Project, “Learning Circle in Wong Tai Sin” (Project No.: 2009/0143), cooperative learning strategies and questioning techniques were developed to enhance classroom interaction, teachers’ questioning techniques and the learning and teaching effectiveness. A learning circle was also established to provide professional development opportunities for the teachers in the district and share resources. In this dissemination activity, an expert on cooperative learning will give a talk on the use of cooperative learning strategies to enhance classroom interaction and learning effectiveness. Besides, there will be lesson observations on Chinese, English, Mathematics and General Studies, followed by post-lesson discussions.
