Quality Education Fund Thematic Dissemination Activities – Effective Learning:Enhancement of the Curriculum of Design and Technology in Primary and Secondary Schools (February)
The Quality Education Fund (QEF) continues to conduct a variety of dissemination activities on a theme basis. The theme of January and February 2010 is “Effective Learning”. For the purpose, Arts & Technology Education Centre and the Quality Education Fund has jointly organised the above sharing session. The aim of the activity is to share the experiences gained from the implementation of General Studies (Technology) in primary schools and Design and Technology in secondary schools in Hong Kong. These include the difficulties they met and the suggested solutions for problems encountered. Please note that the activity will be conducted in Cantonese.
You and your staff are cordially invited to attend the activity to be held on 4 February 2010. For reservation of seats, please submit your on-line application via the Training Calendar System (TCS) of the Education Bureau ( http://tcs.edb.gov.hk ; Course ID: QEF020090024 ) or by returning the enrolment form, which can be downloaded from this homepage, to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8183 on or before respective deadlines . Seats will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. All applicants may visit the QEF homepage for checking the enrolment results from 18 January 2010 onwards. For TCS applicants, they will also be informed of the enrolment result by e-mail via the system. However, the Secretariat will NOT individually inform non-TCS applicants of the enrolment result.
