Promotion & Dissemination Activities

In the past years, the Quality Education Fund (QEF) has provided schools and other institutions with grants to implement projects for the promotion of quality school education in Hong Kong.  With our funding support, educators are encouraged to pursue teaching excellence, students are given opportunities of a wide range of effective learning activities and schools are improved with innovative school development measures.

 

With a view to recognizing and highlighting projects funded since 1998, the QEF will launch the Outstanding Project Awards Scheme at its 10 ^th anniversary to show appreciation to commendable projects and to further disseminate the successful experiences of these projects.

 

All QEF projects completed within the period of 1998 and 2007 with the submission of the final report to the QEF are eligible for nomination for the Awards.

 

Entries could be initiated by self-nomination or nomination by others.

 

The winners will be awarded with a cash prize of HK$20,000 and a trophy.

 

There will be no pre-set number of awards to be given out, the scheme is project-based. Grantees are eligible to be nominated and to receive more than one award, if they have implemented more than one project.

 

The nominator of the winning projects will be given a souvenir.

 

The deadline for nomination is 23 January 2008. 

Announcement of results is scheduled in May 2008.
