Promotion & Dissemination Activities

We have originally invited Mrs Rita Fan, Hong Kong Deputy to the Tenth National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China and Mr Peter Leung Pak-yan, Director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Guangdong of the Government of HKSAR as the keynote speakers for the forum session on National Education of the Teachers’Professional Experience Sharing Month 2007 (TCS Course ID: QEF020060064).  Due to some urgent duty, Mr Leung cannot attend the Forum as scheduled.  Mr Tai Hay-lap, Principal of Yan Oi Tong Tin Ka Ping Secondary School, will be the guest speaker for the forum session on top of Mrs Fan.  The two guest speakers will present the latest development in Mainland China and discuss how to promote National Education in schools in Hong Kong.  Mrs Fan is known for her extensive knowledge and insight in the situations in Mainland China and in Hong Kong.  She has just attended the Fifth Plenary Session of the Tenth National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China.  At our forum, Mrs Fan will brief us on the main discussions made at the Plenary Session that are related to Hong Kong.  Mr Tai, on the other hand, will discuss how to create and build on win-win opportunities in education development for Hong Kong and Mainland China.  We have also invited Mr Chan Yiu-wah, Head of Radio Division, Chinese Programme Service, Radio 1, as the facilitator for the discussion.  We are sure that participants will be enlightened by our guest speakers and facilitator.  Teachers are cordially invited to participate in this meaningful event.
