Application to Join QEF Thematic Network on Gifted Education

The Quality Education Fund launched the QEF Thematic Network Scheme (QTN) in 2006/07 school year.  The Scheme aims at sustaining good educational practices derived from QEF projects under the same theme and to enhance experience sharing as well as collaborative culture in the school sector.  The QTN on Gifted Education is one of the two pilot QTNs set up.

The QTN on Gifted Education starts with eight core primary schools in September 2006.  They are St Francis of Assisi’s English Primary School, Lions Club International Ho Tak Sum Primary School, Raimondi College (Primary School), Tai Po Old Market Public School, Christian Alliance HC Chan Primary School (A.M.), St Joseph’s Anglo-Chinese Primary School, Ma Tau Chung Government Primary School (Hung Hom Bay) and SKH Ho Chak Wan Primary School.  These schools have either been involved in QEF projects related to Gifted Education or the Gifted Education Seed Projects of the Curriculum Development Institute.

The QTN on Gifted Education is now inviting more primary schools to join the network in the 2 nd term of 2006/07. The application form can be downloaded from the link below.  Please contact Mr Liu Kwok Leung of the QEF Secretariat at 2921 8945 for more information.
