Teachers’ Professional Experience Sharing Month 2005

The Teachers’ Professional Experience Sharing Month (TPESM) aims to promote quality teaching experience and to foster the culture of experience sharing among teachers through cohering the strengths of Hong Kong’s educational bodies to share valuable experiences and success stories among teachers. This is the third year that the collaborating education bodies jointly conduct the event.

This year, components of the TPESM will be integrated with the programmes of the Quality Education Fund Projects Exposition 2005. The sharing activities will be held at the Hong Kong Conventional and Exhibition Centre from 11 to 13 March 2005. Outstanding education professionals and societal leaders such as Dr Francis Cheung (HK Examinations and Assessment Authority), Professor K T Hau (Faculty of Education, CUHK), Mr Eddie Ng, (Human Capital Management Ltd), Mr W S TAI (Sha Tin Methodist College), Mr Y W CHAN (Radio Television HK), Mr C H LEE (Education and Manpower Bureau) and Ms Y C Cheung (Outstanding Teen) have been invited to give speeches or participate in open forum to share their views with participants on educational issues. Besides, the TPESM will have sharing activities on two more Saturdays, viz. 19 March and 16 April 2005 at the Hong Kong Teachers Centre. 

School heads and teachers are cordially invited to attend the activities of the TPESM. For activities to be held from 11 to 13 March 2005, please enroll on-line via the Training Calendar System of the Education and Manpower Bureau ( http://tcs.emb.gov.hk ; Course Group ID: CGQE0020050006 ) or or complete and return the enrolment form downloaded from this site to the QEF Secretariat by fax at 2186 8245 on or before 23 February 2005 . For activities to be held on 19 March and 16 April 2005, please register at the Teachers Centre Website ( http://www.emb.org.hk/hktc ) on or before 5 March 2005

Owing to limited seating capacity, seats will be reserved on a first-come-first-served basis. However, if an activity is oversubscribed, only one or two representative(s) from each participating school/unit will be arranged to attend the activity . Applicants may visit respective websites to checking enrolment results.

Points to note regarding activities held on 11 to 13 March:

  • For those successful TCS applicants, please print out and bring along the email sent by the activity organizer via TCS while participating in the selected activity.
     
  • For those successful non-TCS applicants, please bring along the entrance ticket sent by the activity organizer via fax while participating in the selected activity.
     
  • All participants please reach the venue five minutes in advance. Seats will not be reserved after the commencement of the activity.
