To tie in with the initiative advocated by the EDB to encourage publicly-funded schools to strengthen the promotion of values education, financial education and entrepreneurial spirit, schools are now encouraged to apply for additional resources through the "My Pledge to Act" Funding Programme to implement the relevant activities, so as to enrich students’ learning experiences and create a learning environment conducive to cultivating proper values and positive attitudes. EDB encourages schools to actively participate in the Title Scheme for the “Love Our Home, Treasure Our Country” joint school national education activities in the 2025/26 school year, to mobilise the school sector in fostering patriotic education. Schools may apply for Enhanced "My Pledge to Act" Funding Programme and Enhanced "My Pledge to Act" Funding Programme (Phase 2) to obtain additional resources for implementing national education activities.
